How I Got A Link From A Site That Gets 206,350 Monthly/Visits 1 Day After Starting A Brand New Blog

Yesterday I was reading JamesBrausch.com and I noticed he had a link to my site on his blog. James has a PR 5 website. I have a PR 0. James’s site has been online for 22 months. Mine only 1 day. James gets 206,350 monthly visits to his website. I haven’t had this site long enough to even know. So how in the world did I “convince” James to give me a link?

I must have called James on the phone and asked him to give me hand launching this site, right? Wrong.

I’ve never met James. And I’ve never even spoken with James. So how could I have done it?

Well I must at least have had his magical email address. Nope… Not yet anyway.

It’s actually much simpler than that. All I did was link to him.

You see James isn’t one of those “gurus” that just try to extract money out of their readers at every opportunity they get.

If James thinks something is useful to his readers he links to. That’s it. There doesn’t have to be any monetary incentive for him to recommend something to his readers.

He understands the law of reciprocity. He knows that I will reciprocate.

I may have a new blog right now but I won’t forget. Thanks James.
